There will be noise on the third and fourth floors of the Valley Library during the remodeling of library offices, especially early and mid-morning.

Looking for a quiet spot for studying? The fifth floor Rotunda is designated as a quiet area, and the entire sixth floor is for silent study.

We anticipate noise and disruption during winter and spring terms since the remodeling is anticipated to be underway through May.

Ecampus will temporarily relocate while construction is happening

Here's info from them about that:

During the construction period, Ecampus offices will be moved to the OSU Foundation building on 850 SW 35th Street.

Ecampus staff moved to our new, temporary space on Jan. 28. Construction is expected to be completed in late May. Once complete, Ecampus staff will move back to the fourth floor of the Valley Library.

What does this mean for campus partners and faculty who work with Ecampus?

  • Meeting space in the library will be affected during this time. Please check and double-check locations.
  • The OSU Foundation building is about one mile from the library. If you are walking to a meeting in the temporary Ecampus space, please allow for sufficient travel time.
  • If you travel by car, the OSU Foundation has a large parking lot, and parking permits are not required.
  • Some meetings may take place in virtual spaces such as Skype, Webex or Zoom.
  • Phone numbers for Ecampus staff will remain the same.
  • For faculty working on course development, studio recording space will be available in the OSU Foundation building and in the Orange Media Network studios on the fourth floor of the Student Experience Center. Please confirm your recording location with your instructional designer or media developer.
  • The processing of paper exams mailed back from off-campus proctors may be delayed depending on mail delivery and the need to transport from the library to our temporary location.

We appreciate your patience as we work through this move to our temporary relocation, and we look forward to returning to the Valley Library early this summer.
