As can be seen on these pages, a lot happens at Oregon State University Libraries, beyond loaning books and providing great study and work spaces. Here are some numbers that illustrate the work done at OSU Libraries.

Our librarians provide information sessions to the campus community through in-class instruction, stand-alone workshops, presentations for academic and non-academic units on a variety of topics.

Our librarians, staff and student workers are available to answer reference questions through many different modes: in-person at our libraries, via chat through our website, by phone, and by text. We also provide more in-depth consultations if questions can't be answered through a reference session.

One thing we work very hard to do at OSU Libraries and Press is to make information easily accessible. ScholarsArchive@OSU is Oregon State University’s digital repository for research, scholarship, and historical records. OSU Libraries is responsible for collecting, maintaining, preserving, and providing access to the items in ScholarsArchive@OSU. Members of the OSU Community can contribute to ScholarsArchive@OSU.

 In order to serve the needs of our community, we have a very robust interlibrary loan program. We collaborate with different libraries across the country, and even the world, in order to get our community the materials it needs for productive study, research, teaching and work.
