What are Blue Lights?

  • Blue lights mimic the energizing nature of daylight.
  • Exposure to the light can improve mood and energy levels, particularly during the dark days of winter.
  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) also check out their own blue lights and day lights to students for 2 week loan periods.

  • Additional light therapy lamps are available for loan from Student Health Services(SHS) in Plageman Hall.
    • Call (541) 737-9355 to reach SHS
  • Please make sure to carefully read and follow the instructions provided with each light.
