Judith Li, OSU Associate Professor of Fisheries, and illustrated by M. L. (Peg)
Herring, head of OSU Extension Communications. In February 2014, the
book was short-listed for the Green Earth Book Award.

among the 2014 finalists for the Children’s Hands-On Science Book Award
sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science and
Subaru.
Greg Nokes, author of
