Thanks to our friends and supporters OSU Libraries and Press has continued to
develop and deliver innovative services and programs throughout 2013-14. We
continue to play a critical role in preparing students to excel in the classroom by
offering them access to important scholarly resources and superior learning spaces.
Through student worker positions, internships, and other engagement opportunities,
we add value to the classroom and lab experience. Donor support was invaluable in
enabling us to attain one of our major fundraising objectives--endowing the Library
Undergraduate Research Award.
One of our most valuable resources remains the talented and creative staff and
faculty of OSU Libraries and Press. They are dedicated to creating a successful
learning environment for students. They actively seek partnerships across campus
and across the country to advance the University’s research mission and promote access to the intellectual output of OSU’s
faculty. Endowed positions like the Gray Family Chair for Innovative Library Services give us the ability to bring the brightest
minds to the OSU campus to focus on the challenging issues facing the university community.
Our achievements would not be possible without the commitment of our friends and supporters. Their support demonstrates
their belief in the unique role we play at Oregon State University and in the state and region. I am especially grateful to our
