Steve VanTuyl published an article in the latest release of the Code4Lib Journal. Steve was the primary author on “Are we still working on this? A meta-retrospective of a digital repository migration in the form of a classic Greek Tragedy (in extreme violation of Aristotelian Unity of Time).”

Library administration has a new student employee: Elise. She’s taking on the awesome responsibilities of Heather Bennett, whose last day will be August 15th. Stop by and say good bye or hello sometime in the next couple of days.
Emily Brock will be presenting her resident scholar lecture on the topic of the history of plywood on Wednesday, August 29th at 2 p.m.
The first batch of interviews for the OSULP Community Interview Project are complete, and can be found on the SCARC website. They’ve completed eight interviews so far, with more ahead of them.
The Pride Center is looking to build a LGBTQIA+ resource library as part of their new Pride Floor, and is looking for recommendations. Metadata Librarian – The posting closes on the 13th, and the committee is reviewing the applicants.
LT2’s in Circulation – The three positions have been posted, and applications are coming in.
LT3 in Acquisitions – The committee has been formed and they’re working on trying to find a search advocate.
LT3 in Collections – A committee has not been formed for this search yet.
Head of Cataloging and FDLP – A PD is being developed and the committee is being identified.

Can you guess the animal’s person?
Here’s something slightly new for “guess that pet” this week. This loud-mouthed feline does not have a name yet, and her room-mate is looking for recommendations for a good name for her. If you have any ideas, then send Marty Brown a quick message with your suggestion.
Answers can be shared with colleagues and guessed among the office. Last week’s ferocious feline lives with Sarah Imholt.
