The third floor is well on its way to getting ready for the new construction that’s coming. Rachel and her team of crack deconstructionists are working day in and day out to tear down shelving, remove lockers, and move furniture.
There’s a reception of employee art at the LaSells Stewart Center Guistina Gallery on January 14th from 5-7 p.m.. RSVP online by e-mailing them or calling 7-4717. Rachel Ziegler’s art is on display there.
There are new per-diem rates for the Oregon as of January 1st, 2019. They are:
For high per-diem cities, meals are $71 and lodging is $216. For low per-diem cities (like Corvallis), meals are $60 and lodging is $135. Mileage is now reimbursed at a rate of .58 cents per mile. This is a general increase from last year.
Communication allowances have changed, and now follow a specific monetary amount for a“tier” of usage. This is for those employees who need to perform work outside of the office on their cell phones as part of their job position. If you had a communication allowance before, ask your supervisor about the new form.
