Where is Hannah these days?  Well, if you didn’t know she was in the Czech Republic on a Fullbight Award.  She’s going to be lecturing at Charles University as part of a project to develop innovative approaches for preparing information educators in that country.

Engineering faculty member Melissa Santala will be giving a talk for SCARC’s first Collections at the Center presentation this Thursday afternoon.  The title of her presentation is “Through the Lens: Tools for Extending our Vision and Knowledge Through History.” Come check it out!

Today is the kick-off of the 20^th anniversary display at the main entrance.  Stop by at 4 p.m. to take a look at the stuff your fellow co-workers have put together to show off the last twenty years of the library.

The IRS is warning taxpayers and tax professionals of a new scam going around.  Check out their press release for more information, but always remember that the IRS does not initiate contact with taxpayers via e-mail.

Chris has been working on a new oral history site, “Voices of the Forests, Voices of the Mills” which is in the soft launch stage.  Check it out online here.

The call for nominations for the 2020 OSU Distinguished Professor is out.  If you have someone in mind, then start looking at preparing your submission now.
