Can you guess the animal’s person?
This 9 year-old cat spent a year in the shelter before finding her new people. She plays with cast off toys from another person’s cat (who has also appeared in “Guess That Pet”).

As we turn the corner from summer and enter the last stretch towards the first day of school, we're going to try something new. For the next four weeks, we will each highlight a few of the books we read in school that were particularly meaningful (or - at least memorable!).
These are two books have had a big impact in my life. I read Ado Leopold’s “A Sand County Almanac” in 1976 as an undergraduate in Natural Resource Management. Later when I was working on my general science degree at OSU I read Rachel Carson “Silent Spring” both of these had a big impact on the way that I think about the earth and how we as humans’ need to preserve our planet for future generations.
