Computers are located on the second (main) floor of the Valley Library. 

Types of computers

  • ONID-only computers provide internet access, library resources, and have pre-installed programs. These workstations are available to OSU students, staff, and faculty with a valid ONID account. These computers permit saving of files to the desktop, the network, cloud storage (e.g. Google, Box), or a USB flash drive.
  • Computers for Valley Library visitors and community library account holders are available to those who aren't OSU students, staff, or faculty The computers offer access to the library catalog, databases and electronic journals.

    • There are eight computers that provide up to one hour of continuous use. Time can be extended on request at the Borrowing & Information Desk when others aren't waiting.
    • A one-time use guest pass for these computers is available at the Borrowing & Information Desk
    • Computer users must be 14 years-old or have a valid library card. Library cards require a parent/guardian signature for patrons under 14 years of age.
