I curate the Oregon Hops and Brewing Archives and explore allied collecting areas for food and drink in the Northwest through content acquisition and access, conducting oral histories, and outreach to industries and communities.
I support SCARC outreach efforts through the development of promotional materials and exhibits, as well as community engagement through events, social media, scholarship, and service. I provide instruction to a range of OSU classes and communities. I contribute to the department’s management through oversight of its internship program; supervision of students, interns and volunteers; and development of assessment measures of programs and services.
I am working on a book for the OSU Press on the wives of 19th century Oregon brewers, expected publication fall 2024.
