Welcome to the OSU Libraries News and Events page!

You asked and we listened. Beginning today, January 7, 2022, the Valley Library is open until 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays! Visit the Valley Library Hours webpage for our Winter term hours as well as upcoming Winter term closures.

In Spring 2020, Sujittra Avery Carr curated the exhibit "Beyond Suffrage: Giving Voice to Oregon’s Unsung Women in Medicine," which features many women not written about during their lifetimes. By bringing the voices and stories of women, especially those historically overlooked or unrecorded, into the forefront of our history, it is possible to show that we, as a society, value the experiences of women like them, both in the past and in the present. It is now on display on the 5th floor of The Valley Library outside of the Special Collections and Archives Research Center (SCARC).  To learn more, visit the SCARC blog
