Measures of Success:
Periodically during AY2012-2017: Patron satisfaction surveys, user
experience studies, and assessment measures reflect a positive
user experience in locating and accessing information. Assessment
measures pinpoint successes at developing discovery platforms
and portals that connect users to content in meaningful or relevant
ways.
Annually between AY2012 and 2017: The number of co-sponsored
community events held in library facilities increases by 5 percent
each year. Participant feedback indicates that the space and
programs meet community needs.
By AY2014: Establishing a master space plan assists in creating
and maintaining library spaces (i.e., 5th floor of the Valley Library)
that transform the environments where users and staff work and
interact.
By AY2017: The amount of space devoted to individual and
collaborative study in the Valley Library increases from 17 to 25
percent of the total building space.
With over 1.4
